We rolled out Primo’s MDM across our fleet of 250 devices six months ago, and it’s been a great and smooth experience. It significantly streamlined my daily work and saved me a considerable amount of time.

FAQs

Learn everything about Primo and the most frequently asked questions. If you can't find an answer that you are looking for, feel free to drop us a line.

What's the difference between a native MDM and an integrated third-party MDM?

A native MDM is built into the platform — device management, policies and compliance from the same interface as everything else. An integrated third-party MDM means an external tool (Jamf, Intune or Hexnode) runs alongside: two consoles, two contracts, two points of contact when something breaks. Primo's MDM is native.

Does Primo also offer leasing and refurbished?

Yes. Primo offers a catalogue that includes refurbished, with delivery in 60+ countries and 10+ brands. Every device ships pre-configured via zero-touch deployment. The difference: purchasing happens in the same interface as MDM, access and HRIS.

Where is data hosted with Primo?

Primo hosts all of its infrastructure in Europe — which matters for companies subject to GDPR or data-sovereignty policies. We recommend checking hosting location with each vendor you evaluate.

Can I be self-sufficient, or do I need constant support?

Primo is built for autonomy — the platform is designed to get you running on your own. The support team helps during migration and stays available, but the goal is for you to run it yourself. Rzilient runs on a managed-service model, where actions go through their team.

What's the total cost if I add a third-party MDM to Rzilient?

Rzilient is quote-based, and a third-party MDM (Jamf, Intune…) is a separate line on top — plus separate tools for identity, SaaS management and EDR, each with its own contract. Primo covers all of it from a single platform and a single contract.

How long does migration to Primo take?

Migration is supported by the Primo team end to end, and typically lands in a matter of weeks. It includes inventory transfer, device re-enrollment and policy/access configuration.
